Women in Korogocho, a slum in Nairobi, earn a living from recycling synthetic hair from one of Africa's largest rubbish heaps – the Dandora Municipal Dumpsite. For a small profit, the women brave toxic smoke to pick out waste hair to wash and sell to beauty salons.
